2020 was a wild year, alright. As of March, all of Nova Scotia was under a stay-home order, and we were all very worried about each other.
I wanted to help. I knew I could create colouring sheets. I knew, with a little help, they could be distributed (alongside meals) to families with kids in communities that need them most. And I learned, with a lot of help from Halifax’s artists who would donate their skills, that the series could contain over 60 unique illustrations.
In the end, over 3000 colouring sheets were distributed by local charities, and this artist has been humbled beyond belief. The entire set is downloadable for your print-at-home-pleasure at http://ptabbiner.com/communitycolours-hfx/.
